Bill Gallina was born and raised in the Bronx, where he attended public schools and later worked his way through college to earn a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.  After college, Bill worked as an engineer for Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation as a rocket propulsion design engineer for the development and building of the Lunar Excursion Module, which later landed on the moon (for the record, that makes him an actual rocket scientist). 

While working diligently for Grumman Bill attended St. John’s University School of Law where he spent nearly four years of nights and weekends earning his Juris Doctor degree.  Bill Gallina was admitted to practice law in the State of New York in 1967, and upon graduation from law school, he began working for a Wall Street law firm doing intellectual property law.  Following that, to obtain broader experience, he went into practice doing criminal work and general practice. This new approach led him into private practice, and Bill began to take exclusively personal injury cases representing his friends and neighbors in Bronx County.  That was 30 years ago, and since then Bill’s expertise has continued to grow—not only in law, but in technology and medicine, which are essential elements of a personal injury case.  Using this wealth of experience, Bill Gallina has represented hundreds of clients with the professionalism, ethics, and hard work all necessary to be successful in the field of law.

In 1992, Bill founded his own personal injury law firm, and the law office of William Gallina now handles hundreds of cases a year, with 6 attorneys, 6 support staff, and Bill himself at the helm. 

Though Bill’s practice has expanded to taken on the representation of people all over the metropolitan area and all its courts, there’s a reason that Bill keeps his practice in the Bronx, for he represents the people he knows and understands as only a person born and raised in the Bronx can.  He never forgets his roots and will never quit fighting and winning for his clients, whether they hail from the Bronx or other parts of the metropolitan area of this great city.
